Hi! My name is Jessica Purn and I am a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) on the Child Study Team. Prior to becoming an LDTC, I taught a self-contained autistic classroom at the elementary level for many years. As an LDTC, I am responsible for evaluating students and determining learning difficulties. I work closely with teachers to provide strategies that help students with special needs become successful in the classroom. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, as well as my Elementary Education and Teacher of Students with Disabilities certifications from William Paterson in 2010. In 2014, I earned my Masters of Education - Learning Disabilities Concentration with Teacher Consultant Endorsement, also from William Paterson University. Most recently, I completed the Educational Leadership program at Montclair State University earning my Supervisor and Principal Certifications.
